Gloria Hash Marcus is a Licensed Psychoeducational Specialist, a Licensed Professional Counselor, and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist who has thirty-eight years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. Ms. Marcus has extensive experience in school systems, having served as an administrator, school psychologist, consultant, and teacher. Ms. Marcus’ broad-based background with children and adolescents includes work in a developmental pediatric clinic, in a psychiatric hospital, and in a state mental health agency.
Ms. Marcus’ areas of expertise include assessment and treatment of learning disabilities, dyslexia, Nonverbal Learning Disorders, and of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Specialty areas include treatment for depression; anxiety and stress; and development of healthy parenting strategies. In addition to working with children, adolescents, and families in a private practice, she lectures nationally on Multiple Intelligences and Assertive Skills. Ms. Marcus develops curricula for Multiple Intelligences that are specific to school settings. She has taught Multiple Intelligences for years at private schools.
